OUR FAMILY
“The terroirs of the Domain are a genuine gift of generations “
The vineyards have been passed down in our family since 1800 thanks to our ancestors: Eugène Lambert, Georges Huguenot, Pierre Quillardet, Lucien Boudier, Charles Quillardet, who have slowly built our heritage.
1968
Their son, Jean-Louis Huguenot very passionate about the profession, became a great aide. Jean-Louis was a passionate and ambitious builder that did not hesitate to undertake important construction work in the cellars and the cuverie. With his wife, Éliane, they gave a new life to the domain by marketing all their production in bottles towards individuals throughout France.
At each opportunity, they grew the domain by investing in the municipalities of Marsannay and Fixin. Therefore, the domain spread over 18 hectares.
From an early age, their son, Philippe, shared their passion and benefitted from the transmission of their know-how.
1993
After being trained at the Viticulture school in Beaune, then at the university in Dijon, Philippe Huguenot joined the domain assuming the work of the vines and the winemaking. Jean-Louis and Éliane believed in their son and allowed him to make his own way without ever doubting his choices.
Valérie, his wife, joined the domain in 2001. Together, they are writing a new page of the domain’s story.
